SCHNEIDER AUTOHAUS
It's rare I find myself experiencing a breakdown of any kind, but this one time I did I'm so glad I ended up here. Was on an overnight trip to the area with my parents, aged 80, and partner, and our dogs. As we pulled into the hotel at 4 something I noticed the car was about to overheat. I quickly diagnosed the problem but didn't know where I'd get the part, or where might install it if the tools. time, or skill I had on hand wouldn't cut it. I called the closest shop still open at nearing 5 on a Thursday, and was told the only two places he could think of were another place in town and this one. The other place said they could get the part, but I didn't have a lot of confidence it would be the right part. Whereas when I called here Kearian (sp?) partnered with me to research exactly the part number I'd need and to give me a realistic timeline for when he could get the part in, and the car in the following AM. I was so confident in his care I didn't ask the price of the part or who made it. The next morning the part arrived on time, and was one of two parts I was hoping to use. When I arrived they were welcoming and ready to address the issue. Every person I interacted with, from customers to the staff, was genuinely kind and knew why they were there - do get things done right. While the pricing was higher than it is in my own area, any premium felt small compared to the quality of work and professionalism provided. I can see why people with all sorts of cars stop in and ask if they work on their makes and models of cars. Luckily in my case they did. (Was driving a BMW, but the sign also mentioned Audi, Porsche, and MINI.) Thanks to our new friend Kieran from me, and my parents, who both were similarly impressed with his hospitality, maturity, and philosophies. Thanks, all! Rarely am I so happy with a service visit. Especially in a crisis!
